Hefty price, but then you get a really big book in return in which the author has gone all his way to make sure that his debut will not go unnoticed. This will be the biggest comic book you own, possibly it will not fit in your bookshelf. Full out ninja attack! I took a picture of it so you can see for yourself!
This is the debut of Chippendale (Lightning Bolt, Fort Thunder) and it collects all his ninja stories. Think noise comics. No, that's a stupid way to describe this book. Mmmm, how would i manage to get across in words the visual attack that Brian Chippendale has created? It's a bizarre world you will be entering, a big dark and claustrophobic place. Here's what Eric Reynolds (Fantagraphics) said about it: "Chippendale's art is claustrophobic and defiantly difficult at times, but adheres to a remarkably consistent internal logic. This is actually a killer action comic at heart. Challenging stuff but well worth it."
